|Preparing students today for a successful tomorrow by developing academic excellence and positive self concepts to foster values and achievement for all|
It is my pleasure to share the Evanston Academy story with you and your family. Evanston Academy has a strong commitment to offering outstanding education and long-term community building in the Evanston area. Nurturing, challenging and supporting our students are what we are all about; we do it with kindness, humor, expertise and enthusiasm. Our primary goal is success for every student in every seat.
Over and over again we hear from people with whom our children interact--whether they are volunteers, community partners or visitors--“What GREAT kids you have!”. High school teachers tell us they can almost always spot our students; very well prepared, highly motivated individuals with excellent work habits. As you can imagine, these results are achieved by a blend of dedicated staff, supportive parents and guardians, volunteers and a community that has supported our school for many years.
We are proud to be an outstanding neighborhood educational choice for your child’s education. Year after year we have demonstrated the effectiveness of our programs through test scores, the work our students produce as well as the testimonials of our students. The Evanston pride lives on as we send students to Walnut Hills, Withrow, and Hughes High Schools.
Our students not only have a strong academic experience, but also have opportunities to participate in our many student enrichment programs. These programs include fine arts, performing arts, and athletics. Evanston Academy has exclusive partnerships with Xavier University, General Electric, Western & Southern Life Insurance and the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. These partnerships make our programs some of the best in the city, offering invaluable life skills and exceptional opportunities for our students. We believe that these experiences are critical to the development of the full potential of our students. Therefore, we expect our students to take part in them.
This year our school continues an amanzing partnership with the Center for Better Health and Nutrition (CBHN), a program within the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The CBHN has taken an innovative and comprehensive approach to childhood obesity by providing an in-school health and nutrition clinic for families at Evanston Academy.
Please know that together, we are committed to providing opportunities that foster academic, physical and social growth for all of our students. When I say we together, I mean all of us: students, parents and the entire Evanston Academy Staff. We all work as a team with the common goal of academic success for every student in every seat.
Once again, thank you for your valuable support in Evanston Academy. We’re proud of our educational heritage and sincerely look forward to seeing you and your family.
Thank You to our Partners in Education!
